February was a month of movement, both near and far. From sourcing trips abroad to deliveries arriving at the studio, every moment was filled with inspiration and progress.

TLD Turns Six
This month also marked a special milestone—TLD turned six! It’s incredible to reflect on how much has evolved since the very beginning. What started as a vision from my kitchen table has grown into something beyond what we could have imagined, and we’re endlessly grateful for every project, collaboration, and relationship built along the way. Here’s to many more years of creating timeless, meaningful spaces.

A Sourcing Trip to England
One of our team members traveled to England this month to source antiques, fabrics, and special pieces that will add depth and soul to our projects. There’s something about the layered history of English design that never fails to inspire—rich wood finishes, perfectly aged upholstery, and the kind of craftsmanship that tells a story.
New Fabric Arrivals
Back at the studio, deliveries of fresh fabric samples arrived, filling the space with texture and possibility. There’s nothing quite like unrolling a bolt of fabric for the first time—feeling the weave, seeing how it catches the light, imagining the ways it could transform a space. These new additions are already being worked into upcoming projects, adding warmth, depth, and those perfect finishing touches.
Refining the Details
As we move through the design process, we’re reaching the final stages on several projects, refining each selection down to the smallest details. This phase is always both rewarding and deeply thoughtful—balancing the unique character of each space with interiors that feel timeless, layered, and inviting. Every decision matters, from the perfect shade of paint to the right balance of texture and form. Seeing these spaces come together is an exciting reminder of why we love what we do.

Winter at the Lakehouse
On a more personal note, February also meant embracing winter at the Lakehouse. Snowfall has turned it into the coziest retreat, with fires crackling, soft blankets in every corner, and a stack of books always within reach. The quiet of the season feels like a reset—offering time to reflect, dream, and plan for all the beautiful things ahead.

As we step into March, there’s even more in motion, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.
